My Year of Wonder

wonder. n. - a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable

 wonder. v. -

1. desire or be curious to know something
2. feel doubt

Like Alice, meditating on her toadstool, I am wondering ~ wondering in the sense of inquiry.

Observing the world and my surroundings, always. Every day is like drinking an unfamiliar tonic, not knowing what it may yield. So many things I want to know.

Feeling doubt about quite a lot of things in our world at large.

Striving to remain open.
Searching for new horizons yet often in awe of the ones at my feet.
Wow me, world! Yet first, perhaps I must “wow" myself or allow myself to be “wowed.”
